Happy Helpers Beehive Job Chart Display

These bees are eager to help! Build responsibility and teamwork with a classroom job display that’s buzzing with activity. Students are proud to be involved and responsible for a role in their classroom community. 

Supplies

• Rainbow Garden Bulletin Board Set T8323
• Garden Bees Mini Accents Variety Pack T10741
• Beehive Editable Classroom Labels P8323-01
• Always Welcome Bulletin Board Set T8324
• Garden Flowers Classic Accents® Variety Pack T10681
• Tape
• Scissors

Directions

1. Punch out the beehive from the Rainbow Garden Bulletin Board Set
2. Determine if you’ll hand-letter your beehive or use our coordinating, printer-ready classroom labels, as shown
3. Title your beehive ‘Happy Helpers’ or a name of your choosing
4. Add job titles to the remaining rows of the beehive, then adhere your beehive to a wall, bulletin board, door, etc.
5. Add student names or groups to Garden Bees Mini Accents and add them to the beehive. Easily change job assignments by moving the bees to different rows on the beehive.
6. Optional: We finished off our display with coordinating phrases and accents from the Good to Grow Collection. We created the message “Make Time to Bee a Friend” with pieces from our Always Welcome Bulletin Board Set, then accented with a few extra bees and a flower.  
7. At the beginning of the school year, explain the jobs that need to be done each day and the importance of worker bees and their role in the hive (classroom). Rotate jobs as often as you feel appropriate.
