-
Play Emotional Charades! Write emotions on a beach ball or set of large dice. Have one child roll the dice or ball and then act what the emotion would look like. Have other children guess which emotion is being acted out.
-
How would you feel? Write out scenarios involving the eight emotions from the I Feel... Learning Set and place them in a hat. Have kids sit in a circle and pass the hat around while music is playing. When the music stops, the individual holding the hat pulls out a scenario, reads it aloud, and then announces how they might feel in that scenario. If time allows, others in the group can add their thoughts. When finished, restart the music, and pass the hat!
-
My Feelings Board – Provide supplies for kids to create a board that shows different feelings. ;Encourage them to find images in magazines, newspapers, or draw their own. Options include creating a board for each emotion they'd like to include, or creating a board that shows a variety of emotions.
